I’m Michelle Ciani, a writer living in Rome. I write essays, reflections, and guides to support women who want to begin or return to writing.
This space is for anyone drawn to the writing life. Maybe you’re just starting out or maybe, like me, your finding your way back. I believe it’s never too late to begin. And I believe writing, even a little, can change everything.
I called this publication Everything Writerly because that’s how I move through the world. I see life through a writer’s lens. I notice what others might overlook. I follow threads of memory, language, and meaning. Writing, for me, is a way of paying attention. I often use my camera to help me do just that.
